Ian Pettigrew provides us with a unique outlook on Strengths-based development. As a coach, Ian has created a 7 step process he leverages to help others become the best version of themselves and bounce back from setbacks.
As part of his True Strengths discovery process, Ian developed the acronym S.W.I.M.A.R.T.
Strength
Weakness
Intent
Mindset
Action
Resilience
Truth
Ian describes each of these steps during the broadcast. As someone who has a difficult time describing his “wants,” Andy digs a little deeper into the Intent and Truth segments. We will also discuss the power associated with looking where you want to go; rather than focusing on the approaching obstacles.
“If you spend most of your time looking at what you don’t want, there’s a good chance you’ll end up getting what you DON’T want.” ~Ian Pettigrew
